When our oldest grandson was two years old he named this area "Happy Heber".  It is a fitting title for Heber/Overgaard, where family memories are made, friendships enriched, and faith deepened. 

Away from the distractions of city life and its sometimes grueling pace you will find rest, relaxation, clean air and cool mountain breezes.  This is a place to reconnect with nature, wildlife and each other.

As Valley residents for 14 years, we always looked forward to our trips to the mountain, where stress seemed to retreat every mile.  The beautiful drive typically included a stop in Payson for some refreshment.  Our anticipation for the top of the mountain was always rewarded by a nap in the hammock, elk sitings, stargazing or a walk in the forest.

Being a full-time resident for the past four years has been incredibly rewarding.  I have been able to help many others find their special place in Heber/Overgaard.
